Job Duties:
- Support project teams in the development of electrophysiology products, including design, design for manufacturing, test method development, and product verification and validation testing.
- Participate in the development, testing, and deployment of ultrasound catheter technology and document issues encountered.
- Develop customer requirements and product specifications with validated test methods.
- Support and lead quality improvement initiatives such as process and product characterizations that lead to continuous/cost improvements.
- Manage requirements, CTQ traceability, and V&V planning for the new generation ultrasound device.
- Own R&D deliverables of new product development, including design and development plan, system requirements, system functional requirements, and user needs.
- Interface between external vendors and the core team.
- Present project work across management levels and to customers; author scientific publications and patents in support of key technologies.
- Write reports, work instructions, test methods, and procedures.
- Travel to customer sites (domestic and international) to gather VOC, perform testing, and conduct troubleshooting.
- Perform design reviews and pre-validation assessments to ensure safe and environmentally sound processes and designs.
- Responsible for purchase/design of equipment that meets company health, safety, and environmental standards.
Requirements:
- Masterβs degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Embedded Electrical & Computer Systems Engineering, or related field.
- 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a Senior R&D Systems Engineer-related occupation.
