Position Summary:
Senior Project Manager, Technical Operations (CMC) drives Technical Operations strategies supporting product development, clinical manufacturing, commercial launch planning, logistics, and lifecycle management. Partners with Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, and Clinical Supply to ensure alignment, risk management, and program milestone delivery. Leads CMC strategy for a late-stage biologics asset.

Responsibilities:
- Execute CMC strategies for biologics programs.
- Build and maintain integrated project plans, timelines, and resource forecasts.
- Communicate status, risks, opportunities; improve operational efficiency.
- Facilitate meetings; prepare agendas and minutes; ensure deliverable accountability.
- Monitor progress; proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks.
- Coordinate CMC initiatives; ensure timely technical documentation, regulatory commitments, and CMC deliverables.
- Align stakeholders to support production schedules, supply planning, and inventory management.

Education/Experience (Required/Preferred):
- Required: Bachelor’s in Life Sciences/Chemistry/Pharm Sci/Biology/Biochemistry/Chemical Engineering or related.
- Preferred: MS/MBA/PhD/PharmD.
- Required: 7+ years in biotech/pharma development, manufacturing, or technical operations.
- Required: 4+ years project management in CMC/Technical Ops/Manufacturing/Product Development.
- Biologics drug product CMC + lifecycle management experience.
- Preferred: BLA submissions and post-approval commitments.
- GMP/quality systems knowledge; process validation + technology transfer knowledge.

Skills/Other:
- Strong cross-functional project leadership (clinical through commercialization); project planning/risk/stakeholder management; executive communication; tools (Smartsheet, MS Project); PMP preferred.
- Travel 10%; onsite/face-to-face in San Diego; not 100% remote.

- Target base pay range: $132,000–$172,000.
