Senior Project Manager - CMC Integration Project Management
What You Will Do
- Integrate and understand Process Development activities by developing and maintaining project timelines for Pre-Pivotal, Pivotal, and Lifecycle Management projects within Amgen’s commercial portfolio.
- Manage cross-functional Process Development teams across all modalities as needed.
- Partner with technical leads to identify key deliverables, ensure cross-functional alignment, and execute plans; proactively manage plans to meet deliverables.
- Partner with Process Development leaders to build project timelines aligned to clinical and commercial targets.
- Ensure active, aligned communication in functional and cross-functional reviews and governance meetings.
- Assist PD in driving decision-making and communication.
- Establish and manage collaboration and team sites; track delivery and build repositories for PD deliverables.
- Partner with Business Analysis and Performance to report product metrics.
- Facilitate and incorporate lessons learned and best practices.
- Support business process improvements, including alignment with the Commercialization Office.
- Provide project reporting including risk analysis.
- Manage/coach a team of project managers supporting various products and projects.
Basic Qualifications
- Doctorate + 2 years PM OR Master’s + 4 years PM OR Bachelor’s + 6 years PM OR Associate’s + 10 years PM OR High school/GED + 12 years PM.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s + 6 years PM OR Bachelor’s + 8 years PM.
- 10+ years in Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology/Healthcare; direct CMC experience highly desirable.
- Collaborate effectively cross-functionally; strong communication/interpersonal skills.
- Critical thinking and problem solving.
- Standard PM tools; MS Project, Excel, SharePoint highly desirable.
