Senior Project Manager - CMC Integration Project Management
What You Will Do
In this vital role, responsible for integrating and understanding Process Development activities by developing and maintaining project timeline for Pre-Pivotal, Pivotal and Lifecycle Management projects within Amgen’s commercial portfolio.
- Partner with Process Development leaders to build project timelines aligned with clinical and commercial targets.
- Ensure active, aligned communication in functional and cross-functional management reviews and governance meetings.
- Assist PD in driving decision making and communication.
- Establish and manage collaboration/team sites; track delivery and build repositories for PD deliverables.
- Partner with Business Analysis and Performance to report product metrics.
- Facilitate and incorporate lessons learned and best practices.
- Support business process improvements, including alignment with the Commercialization Office.
- Project reporting, including appropriate risk analysis.
- Manage/coach a team of project managers supporting various products and projects.
Basic Qualifications:
- Doctorate degree and 2 years of Project Management experience OR
- Master’s degree and 4 years OR
- Bachelor’s degree and 6 years OR
- Associate’s degree and 10 years OR
- High school diploma/GED and 12 years.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s (6 years) OR Bachelor’s (8 years) project management experience.
- 10+ years in Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology/Healthcare; direct CMC experience highly desirable.
- Collaboration on cross-functional teams; strong interpersonal/communication skills across all levels.
- Critical thinking and problem solving.
- Standard project management tools; MS Project, Excel, and SharePoint highly desirable.
