Senior Project Manager - CMC Integration Project Management
What You Will Do
In this role you will integrate and understand Process Development activities by developing and maintaining project timelines for Pre-Pivotal, Pivotal and Lifecycle Management projects within Amgen’s commercial portfolio.
Manage cross-functional teams within Process Development across all modalities. Partner with technical leads to identify key deliverables, ensure cross-functional alignment, and execute plans. Proactively manage plans to meet deliverables.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with Process Development leaders to build project timelines aligned with clinical and commercial targets
- Ensure active, aligned communication in functional and cross-functional management reviews and governance meetings
- Assist PD in driving decision making and communication
- Establish and manage collaboration and team sites; track delivery and build repositories for PD deliverables
- Partner with Business Analysis and Performance to report product metrics
- Facilitate and incorporate lessons learned and best practices
- Support business process improvements, including alignment with the Commercialization Office
- Provide project reporting including risk analysis
- Manage/coach project managers supporting various products and projects
Basic Qualifications:
- Doctorate + 2 years Project Management OR Master’s + 4 years OR Bachelor’s + 6 years OR Associate’s + 10 years OR High school/GED + 12 years
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s + 6 years OR Bachelor’s + 8 years
- 10+ years in Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology/Healthcare; direct CMC experience highly desirable
- Cross-functional collaboration; strong interpersonal/communication skills
- Critical thinking and problem solving
- Standard project management tools; experience with MS Project, Excel, SharePoint highly desirable
