Role Summary

Senior Project Engineer, API Pilot Plant. Lead planning and execution of capital projects for the API Pilot Plant, with day-to-day technical support to R&D and collaboration with process engineers, chemists, and operations technicians on process introduction and plant improvements. Onsite five days a week.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning & execution of small to medium sized capital projects related to process equipment, facilities, & utilities for the API Pilot Plant.
  • Provide day-to-day technical support of the plant and collaborate with process engineers, chemists, & operations technicians on the introduction of new processes & plant improvements.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelorโ€™s in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or related field, and 2 years of progressive project & manufacturing engineering work experience.
  • Required: 2 years in each of the following areas:
    • Utilizing Maximo asset management system to schedule work orders & track & manage asset lifecycles
    • Utilizing SAP for procurement
    • Planning, executing, & delivering capital projects within budget, while ensuring adherence to production schedule & quality requirements
    • Applying validation principles & knowledge to ensure accuracy & compliance in all aspects of project execution
    • Designing chemical process equipment to ensure product quality & production reliability
    • Preparing written & oral reports & presentations, using Excel, PowerPoint, Word, for business stakeholders, peers & management

Education

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or related field

Additional Requirements

  • Onsite 5 days a week
