Responsibilities:
- Support employee engagement through communications outreach, programs, and initiatives.
- Develop employee communications strategies aligned with department priorities; create and use a communications plan for departmental activities, meetings, and events.
- Create multifaceted engagement plans that deliver clearly defined messages across all distribution channels.
- Collaborate with peers and team engagement committees to enhance engagement, visibility into department projects, engage leadership, and plan/execute internal programs.
- Manage content for the engagement program and department resources to support onboarding, team information sharing, and access to supporting materials.
- Plan and execute department town halls and leadership meetings logistics; liaise with vendors/partners; administer and analyze post-event surveys to measure impact.
- Prepare and send “all-department” emails/newsletters, including VP messages; manage communications timing/flow with editorial calendar planning and coordination.
- Coordinate with BHR and other communications teams to maximize readership and employee engagement; identify new communications channels/solutions.
- Partner with Brand & Communication to support enterprise business initiatives.
Qualifications (Required):
- Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience OR Master’s degree with 4 years of experience.
- Proven success managing employee communications initiatives protecting corporate reputation, citizenship, crisis planning, and company values.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; knowledge of emerging communication trends and technologies.
- Strong business acumen and ability to anticipate company and team needs.
Preferred:
- 4+ years of relevant experience (employee communications).
- Healthcare/bio-pharma industry experience (a plus).
