Role Summary
Senior Program Manager - Immunology is responsible for supporting business initiatives within the Therapeutic Area, coordinating with the Medical Program Lead and Global Medical Team to enable operational execution of lifecycle management initiatives and launch deliverables. Works in a matrix environment to ensure alignment with Global Medical Plans and collaborates with alliance partners as applicable. Location options include Morristown, NJ and Cambridge, MA.
Responsibilities
- Provide Program Management support for the respective Therapeutic Area in close partnership with the Medical Program Lead
- Partner with the Global Medical Director to operationalize Global Medical Team(s)
- Collaborate with Global Medical Director, Brand team and functional leads in the Global Medical Planning process (plan generation, tracking, and updating)
- Provide Program Management support for LCM management including processes, timelines, and budget coordination
- Facilitate financial planning exercises with medical and finance to enable execution across Immunology with emphasis on stakeholder transparency
- Conduct Data Gap / Study prioritization exercises
- Coordinate CSS approvals and central communications sources in Medical for CSO communications and partnerships
- Capture operational details of ISS, RWE, study data milestones, and budget for all studies defined in the Medical plan
- Ensure compliance reporting for CSS and optimize cross-functional communication and decision-making
- Maintain efficient workflows and ensure adherence to internal SOPs and external guidelines
- Manage portfolio and operational activities via a harmonized Program Management Tool across the SG MPM organization
- Build and maintain partnerships with internal and external parties; serve as an advocate for collaboration with alliance partners where applicable
- Provide PM support for TA-specific initiatives
Qualifications
- Required: Experience in biotech/pharmaceutical industries with direct Project/Program Management; scientific background and Medical Affairs experience preferred
- Required: Bachelor of Science (BS); advanced degree in science preferred; MBA is a plus
- Required: At least 3+ years of project/program management or relevant experience in biotech/pharma or clinical/scientific environments
- Required: Ability to lead projects and translate strategy into tactical plans
- Required: Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methodologies
- Required: Ability to foster teamwork across cross-functional, matrix environments
- Required: Ability to manage projects end-to-end with minimal supervision
- Required: Ability to establish and provide frequent dashboards with key metrics using harmonized methodologies
- Required: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interface across all organizational levels; excellent organizational skills
- Required: Ability to multitask and manage tight timelines and priorities professionally
- Required: Excellent knowledge of MS Office; working knowledge of program/project management software
