Role Summary

Senior Program Manager - Immunology in Cambridge, MA and Morristown, NJ. Join the team transforming care for people with immune challenges, rare diseases, cancers, and neurological conditions. In Specialty Care, you’ll help deliver breakthrough treatments that bring hope to patients with some of the highest unmet needs. The role supports business-related initiatives for the Therapeutic Area, collaborating with Medical Program Lead and Global Medical Team to execute lifecycle management initiatives and launch deliverables where applicable.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Program Management support for the respective Therapeutic Area in close partnership with the Medical Program Lead.
  • Partner with the Global Medical Director to operationalize Global Medical Team(s).
  • Partner with the Global Medical Director, Brand team and functional leads in the Global Medical Planning process (plan generation, tracking and updating).
  • Provide Program Management support relative to lifecycle management (LCM) management including processes, timelines, budget and coordination for:
    • Partner with medical team and finance to facilitate financial planning exercises, tracking, and enable execution across Immunology with emphasis on medical stakeholder transparency.
    • Data Gap / Study prioritization exercises
    • CSS – approval coordination and central source in Medical for CSO communications and partnerships
    • Capture operational details of ISS, RWE, study data milestones, and budget for all studies defined in the Medical plan
    • Compliance reporting for CSS
    • Optimize communication and decision-making by ensuring cross-functional representation at relevant team meetings and various Medical Affairs programs
    • Support operational activities to ensure workflows and processes are efficient and compliant with internal SOPs and external guidelines
    • Manage portfolio and operational activities via a harmonized Program Management Tool across the SG MPM organization
    • Build and maintain strong, collaborative partnerships with internal and external parties; advocate for collaboration with alliance partners where applicable
  • Provide Program Management support for various initiatives specific to the Therapeutic Area.

Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate will have a background in biotech/pharmaceutical industries with direct experience in Project/Program Management; scientific background and Medical Affairs experience preferred.
  • Bachelor of Science (BS) required; advanced degree in science preferred; MBA is a plus.
  • At least 3+ years of project/program management or relevant experience in biotech/pharma or clinical/scientific environment.
  • Ability to lead projects and translate strategy into tactical plans.
  • Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methodologies.
  • Ability to foster teamwork and collaboration across cross-functional teams in a matrix environment.
  • Ability to manage projects end-to-end with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to establish and provide frequent dashboards with key metrics using harmonized methodologies.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interface across all levels of the organization; strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and maintain tight timelines and priorities in a professional manner.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office; working knowledge of program/project management software.
