Operations
Responsibilities:
- Independently provide advanced project management support to multiple complex drug development and on-market LCM projects, including creation/maintenance of CMC technical plans (AMP), PPDST roster management, and timeline swimlanes for program reviews.
- Lead PPDST Team meetings: set agendas, capture action items, drive discussions, ensure accountability to deliverables; develop planning scenarios; identify/monitor/analyze business risks; perform root cause analyses and recommend corrective actions.
- Manage activities to ensure teams have the right tools, reports, and data for accurate resource estimates.
- Support knowledge management for PPDST teams (e.g., SharePoint/Teams sites).
- Identify process improvement opportunities and lead cross-functional process improvement projects; convert goals to tasks; estimate/manage requirements; lead small teams and keep management informed of milestones.
- Apply advanced PM principles to coordinate and complete assigned goals; prioritize tasks effectively.
- Advise peer Project Managers/PPDST Co-Chairs on monthly plan issues and timelines; provide change request data entry; define performance expectations and assess progress.
- Use PM tools for metrics collection, analyze project data, develop guidelines/checklists, and implement solutions for metrics and process improvement.
- Serve as local expert for business procedures; provide training/presentations/guidance; mentor junior staff.
- Build and maintain stakeholder networks; manage cross-functional behaviors, mediate disputes, facilitate high-performing teams; may manage Sr. Specialists.

Qualifications:
- Bachelorโ€™s in a technical/scientific discipline + 8+ years pharma/biotech experience; or Masterโ€™s + 6+ years; or Doctorate + 2+ years.
- Highly preferred: project management/process improvement accreditation (e.g., PMP, LEAN Six Sigma).
- Required: 2+ years project management experience including leadership of a cross-functional team.
- Strong leadership skills: communication, proposal influence/justification, judgment, negotiation/conflict management, cross-cultural communication, relationship building, teamwork, training.
- Knowledge of drug development process.
- Preferred: cross-functional/global project team leadership.
- Required: proficiency with PM/Business Excellence tools (e.g., MS Office, MS Project, QlikView, Spotfire).
- Preferred: CMC experience.
