Role Summary

Senior Product Manager (SPM), P2P Engagements, remote role based in Massachusetts - Virtual. Partner with the Dermatology Brand Marketing team to support the development and implementation of peer-to-peer programs and engagements. Coordinate logistics, facilitate participant engagement, and align activities with strategic objectives to foster meaningful education and knowledge exchange among peers.

Responsibilities

  • Strong understanding and execution of the Dermatology Peer-to-Peer Engagement Strategy.
  • Lead tactical pull-through at product theaters and promotional speaker programs.
  • Monitor the planning process from submission to execution of different formats, including but not limited to
    • Submit marketing-led request forms, relevant documentation, content forms, and training records.
    • Identify areas that may need exceptions, escalations, or approvals.
    • Coordinate execution details with the field sales team and/or program owners, and close out all program activities.
  • Develop Needs Assessment Forms (NAFS) for Ethics & Compliance (E&C) and Legal alignment on tactics, bureau, and consulting opportunities.
  • Partner with Medical, Legal, Regulatory and Compliance to ensure all materials meet internal and external standards.
  • Help identify appropriate HCP speakers who will compliantly present approved and educational content within the community, regional areas, and nation.
  • Represent the brand as the 'Speaker Selector'. Understand the audience needs for each event and compliantly select speakers for programs from the bureau.
  • Assist with on-label training of speaker bureau members.
  • Assist with development of educational content.
  • Attend programs (minimum 1x per speaker) to observe, coach, and develop individual speakers to ensure medically accurate and compliant execution of approved content.
  • Collaborate closely with program owners to help facilitate plans and execution to meet the objectives of each event and assume program performance.
  • Manage the bureau with consistency and accuracy to ensure all speakers have an opportunity to reach the contractually agreed two-event minimum per year.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and the competitive landscape to inform program types and opportunities.
  • Assist program owners in identifying educational opportunities.
  • Monitor and evaluate program performance and initiate recommendations and adjustments to align with strategy.
  • Performance Measurement Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the progress and process of program planning and execution.
  • Partner with brand and franchise marketing, professional engagements, ethics & compliance, and agency partners on the execution of peer-to-peer and contracted activities.
  • Attend routine status meetings with cross-functional partners and the brand to review progress weekly.
  • Work with the highest degree of professionalism and in accordance with Takedaโ€™s code of ethics and business conduct.

Qualifications

  • Required: A Bachelorโ€™s degree is required, with a focus in Biology, Marketing, Strategy, and/or Business Administration preferred.
  • Required: 5+ years of progressively responsible marketing or sales experience within the bio-pharmaceutical industry, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in speaker bureau management.
  • Required: Experience working with a Speaker Bureau, speaker training, content development, and execution.
  • Required: Strong leadership skills with an ability to generate commitment, identify and resolve issues, and evaluate risk.
  • Required: Equally important is the ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross-functional teams, with a proven ability to influence without authority.
  • Required: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Required: Strong financial management and budgeting capabilities.
  • Required: Willingness to travel to occasional programs that could include overnight stays
  • Required: High comfort level with emerging technologies, adaptability to digital tools, and openness to AI-enabled processes
