Role Summary
Senior Product Manager - Novartis Patient Support (NPS). Location: East Hanover, NJ onsite. Local candidates only. Lead the integration and deployment of technology products within the US Innovative Medicines PSS organization to support the Patient Support Center and patient experiences. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless product experience for internal and external customers.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end integration of all technology products within PSC operations, understanding patient services, business processes, operational flows, program design, and challenges.
- Lead one or more scrum teams to develop scalable enterprise products addressing PSC operational challenges.
- Document and maintain product requirements for Product/IT to build technical applications across all products with PSS business strategy and franchise teams.
- Understand patient services internal and vendor landscape (benefit investigation, prior authorization, co-pay, authorizations, opt-outs, refill management) for all product archetypes.
- Leverage data insights, research, and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for user-centered product enhancements.
- Partner with cross-functional global teams from Product and IT to support PSC operations and drive continual improvement.
- Engage with stakeholders (PSC, franchise, IT, vendors) to communicate product status and gain ongoing buy-in.
Qualifications
- Required: Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field. Advanced degree (MBA or quantitative) strongly preferred.
- Required: 3+ years of product management and technology experience driving process initiatives; strong user experience design focus.
- Required: Experience leading scrum teams (Product Owner, Scrum Master, Business Analyst, Developers, Testers).
- Required: Experience delivering results in a matrix organization; hands-on contributor with proven product management, roadmaps, and discovery.
- Required: Ability to interface with and influence senior leaders.
- Preferred: 1+ years in patient services and reimbursement operations; multi-functional experience in pharma or healthcare.
