Position Summary:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of solid oral dose packaging operations to ensure safe, efficient, compliant pharmaceutical production; drive continuous improvement and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Drug Product, Analytical, API, Quality, Regulatory, and MS&T to execute packaging development, clinical packaging strategies, and support drug application submissions/approvals.
- Lead package development for oral solid dosage forms.
- Conduct packaging materials/stability testing; coordinate stability supply packaging.
- Provide technical expertise to resolve packaging/component equipment conflicts.
- Source, test, qualify, and document new packaging components; recommend component design improvements.
- Provide guidance to suppliers on plastic injection molding, IBM/EBM molding, thermoforming, and cold form processes.
- Develop test methods and prepare technical documents for regulatory filings.
- Develop Instruction for Use; drive human factor studies for pediatric products.
- Drive new packaging technology development; execute projects to objectives/timelines/costs.

Qualifications & Experience (Required):
- Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Science, Packaging Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 11 years professional experience in pharmaceutical or consumer products industry.
- Demonstrated primary packaging expertise (plastic bottles, blister systems).
- Proven primary packaging system design; hands-on authoring/execution of packaging test protocols.
- Familiarity with global packaging regulations/compliance.
- Track record managing complex cross-functional packaging projects.
- Strong verbal/written communication; self-directed with continuous improvement mindset.
