Senior Principal Scientist Oligonucleotides

Role: Lead process development for oligonucleotide manufacturing as Senior Principal Scientist within Amgen’s Process Development team, focusing on innovation, scale-up, and technology transfer. Responsibilities: manage multidisciplinary teams to develop sustainable, cost-effective processes; drive capacity expansion and yield improvements; support cGMP manufacturing and regulatory filings; and serve as a technical expert in bioconjugate manufacturing. Requirements: PhD, PharmD, or MD with 3+ years (or Master’s with 6+ years, Bachelor’s with 8+ years) of experience; deep expertise in oligonucleotide process development, GMP manufacturing, and tech transfer. Preferred: industry experience in oligonucleotides, proven leadership, publications/patents, and ability to work in dynamic, interdisciplinary settings.
