Senior Director (Sr. Principal Scientist) – Immunology Clinical Research

Responsibilities
- Strategically plan and direct clinical research for investigational Immunology compounds across late-stage development.
- Manage the full clinical development cycle: select disease indications; develop study designs; initiate, execute, monitor, analyze; support regulatory filings and publication.
- Evaluate preclinical/translational work to create early clinical development plans and IND applications.
- Support business development assessments for external opportunities to grow the Immunology pipeline.
- Develop clinical development strategies and plan clinical trials (design, operational plans, settings).
- Monitor and manage ongoing or new clinical trials.
- Analyze/summarize clinical findings to support safety/efficacy decisions, drug applications, clinical study reports, and publication.
- Participate in internal and joint internal/external research project teams.
- Supervise Clinical Scientists; partner cross-functionally (commercialization, regulatory, statistics, manufacturing) to manage clinical development projects.
- Maintain scientific knowledge by tracking developments, identifying expert investigators, building external collaborations, and attending scientific meetings.
- Author development documents/budgets/presentations; facilitate global collaborations; travel ~20%.

Qualifications
- MD, DO, MD/PhD, or DO/PhD.
- Phase 2 or 3 clinical trial design/execution experience in Immunology.
- Minimum 3 years clinical medicine experience.
- Minimum 5 years industry drug development experience.

Required Skills/Experience
- Clinical decision-making/judgment; clinical development/documentation; data analysis; immunology and drug development (also includes dermatology).
