Role Summary
Senior Therapeutic/Prevention Specialist in Central Florida representing Gilead's products to a defined customer base, with a focus on generating and growing sales within a specific geographic area. Responsibilities include comprehensive account management through in-person engagement, face-to-face meetings, and strategic partnerships across the Central Florida territory (Ocala, Gainesville, Lakeland).
Responsibilities
- Build strong relationships and engage healthcare providers across various touchpoints to maximize the impact of Gilead's products.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive territory business plan that meets customer needs and achieves sales goals; monitor progress and adjust strategies to exceed targets.
- Maintain a deep understanding of Gilead's products, competitive products, and the disease state's complexities; promote appropriate product use while adhering to guidelines.
- Partner with cross-functional colleagues to ensure a seamless customer experience through access, acquisition, administration, and operational support.
- Collaborate externally with healthcare organizations and partner companies, including co-promotion efforts, to extend product reach and drive sales results.
- Demonstrate ability to build and maintain strong internal and external working relationships across departments and organizations.
- Model and uphold compliance standards and ethical behavior; ensure adherence to regulatory policies and reporting requirements.
- Leverage influencing and relationship skills to drive sales outcomes; maintain long-term partnerships with healthcare providers.
- Perform administrative tasks, including reporting activity, submitting expenses, and managing the territory budget.
- Engage in continuous learning and development, stay updated on industry trends, and drive autonomous performance beyond personal goals.
- Experience in selling a Buy and Bill product with proven sales success.

Qualifications
- Basic Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent with 11+ years of experience; OR Associates degree with 9+ years; OR Bachelor's degree with 7+ years; OR Master's degree with 5+ years.
- Ability to travel within the assigned area as reasonably required.
- Ability to meet onsite visitation requirements of healthcare practitioners within the area, if applicable (vaccinations, screenings, etc.).
- A valid driver's license.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- BA or BS degree.
- 7+ years of pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare industry sales experience.
- Superior selling skills in highly competitive markets; proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales objectives, preferably in specialty markets.
- Experience leading cross-functional local teams and collaborating with account-focused functions.
- Experience selling injectable physician-administered products.
- Familiarity with the managed care landscape and its impact on business.
