Responsibilities:
- Support day-to-day U.S. payroll operations (expats, relocation, new hires, LOAs, benefits, terminations, tax inquiries, payroll helpdesk, employee changes).
- Monitor/respond to Employee Service Center ticketing cases.
- Ensure Sarbanes-Oxley, Controller’s Manual/finance policies, and tax/labor law compliance.
- Support year-end processing.
- Execute/deliver payroll processing controls; enforce internal control environment.
- Perform payroll reporting, validations, and manage complex payroll datasets.
- Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes; increase efficiency.
- Promote positive team environment and support/lead payroll staff.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree + 5 years’ experience OR Master’s degree + 3 years’ experience.

Preferred Qualifications/Skills:
- 4+ years payroll operations experience for multi-national organization.
- Workday Payroll proficiency; CPP certification.
- Partnership building and cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong time management, problem-solving, data analysis, communication, organization, multitasking, prioritization.
- Advanced Microsoft (Outlook, Visio, Intermediate Excel incl. VLOOKUPs/pivot tables).
- Global Finance experience; biotech/pharma a plus; detail oriented; fast-paced deadline-focused.

Compensation/Benefits:
- Salary range: $94,690.00–$122,540.00; may include discretionary bonus, stock incentives, paid time off, and company-sponsored medical/dental/vision/life insurance.
