Senior Patent Counsel

Role: Senior Patent Counsel supporting Generate Biomedicines' platform, research, preclinical, and clinical activities, with a focus on biologic therapeutics and platform technologies. Responsibilities: partner with R&D to identify and protect inventions, manage global patent estate, draft and prosecute patent applications, conduct patentability and landscape analyses, and advise on IP strategy for collaborations and disclosures. Requirements: JD from a reputable law school, admission to at least one state bar and USPTO, 5–8 years of biotech patent law experience, preferably with in-house and law firm mix; advanced degree (MS or PhD) in biology or biochemistry highly preferred.
