Position Overview
Senior Paralegal provides critical support to Legal and Compliance (50% Legal / 50% Compliance) across contract management, corporate governance, litigation support, healthcare compliance activities, investigations, policy administration, training, and operational processes. Ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, highly regulated pharmaceutical environment.

Responsibilities
Legal (50%):
- Draft, review, organize, and manage legal documents (vendor/consulting agreements, commercial agreements, statements of work, amendments, legal correspondence).
- Administer contract lifecycle management (CLM) system (approvals, renewals, key obligations).
- Coordinate contract execution via electronic signature platforms.
- Maintain corporate records, legal files, and document repositories.
- Support corporate governance (board materials, resolutions, entity records, corporate filings).
- Coordinate legal holds and document collection for litigation, employment matters, audits, and investigations.
- Support outside counsel (information gathering, document organization, legal spend tracking).
- Track litigation/subpoena/legal matter calendars and deadlines.
- Conduct legal research on statutes, regulations, and case law as requested.
- Assist with intellectual property administration (trademark/patent documentation as applicable).

Compliance (50%):
- Maintain compliance policies, procedures, and SOPs.
- Support compliance monitoring, audits, and internal reviews.
- Administer healthcare compliance training (track completion; maintain records).
- Coordinate annual compliance certifications and disclosure processes.
- Support investigations (hotline/policy violations) by gathering documentation and maintaining investigation files.
- Support Material Review Committee (MRC) operations (documentation, approvals, meeting materials).
- Monitor compliance metrics; prepare dashboards/reports for leadership.
- Support third-party due diligence (vendor compliance documentation and risk assessments).

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent education/work experience).
- Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program and/or law firm experience preferred; 7+ years progressive paralegal experience, including senior/lead experience with minimal supervision.
- Independently manage complex legal/compliance matters; exercise sound judgment on escalation.
- Strongly preferred: healthcare compliance program support.
- Preferred: pharmaceutical/biotech/life sciences or other highly regulated industry experience.
- Experience with contract management systems and electronic signature platforms.
- Strong understanding of corporate legal processes and contract administration.
- Knowledge of healthcare compliance regulations: Anti-Kickback Statute, False Claims Act, FDA promotional regulations, PhRMA Code, Sunshine/Open Payments.
- Excellent organization/project management; exceptional attention to detail; manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong written/verbal communication; professionalism, discretion, confidentiality.
- Analytical/problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency: Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems.
- Plus: CLM systems, compliance management platforms, e-billing systems.

Pay Range
- $148,000 USD - $180,000 USD
