Senior Operator, Packaging - 5th Shift

Key Responsibilities:
- Visually inspect the product during operation; observe equipment/process for proper operation; seek maintenance assistance and recommend improvements.
- Set up and run production equipment.
- Prepare process/product-specific cleaning activities for lines and equipment; keep work area clean and orderly.
- Ensure products are properly labeled and stored, including samples and waste containers/bags.
- Document material runs via Batch Production Records, In-Process Sheets, Log Books, and Time Sheets.
- Perform status verification, material/component consumption, and post-batch returns in SAP; ensure returns are correctly labeled.
- Assist in training new personnel in manufacturing operations under supervisor guidance.
- Perform calibration on scales, line meters, coating ovens, micrometers, etc., as instructed.
- Perform post-run reconciliation and waste-handling activities.
- Prepare components and/or processing aids for introduction to the process.
- Coordinate/oversee other operators; act as backup to Lead Operator or Supervisor as necessary.
- Collaborate with Supervisor, QA, and Production Support on production events to evaluate/minimize quality impact.
- Provide leadership and versatility across multiple production lines.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- High School diploma.
- Minimum 7 years of experience (combination of experience and/or education considered).

Compensation:
- Salary range: $37,000 - $73,000.
