Senior Oncology Specialist
What You Will Do
- Act as the primary customer contact to provide current and comprehensive clinical knowledge of Amgen products and communicate clinical and economic benefits to medical professionals.
- Create and execute a comprehensive territory plan, including delivering branded sales messages, executing planned programs, scheduling and following up with medical educational programs, and achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Service and manage accounts by ensuring product access, resolving/triaging reimbursement issues, and maintaining product contracts.
- Craft an effective marketing strategy to drive sales.
- Analyze business effectiveness and territory analysis; develop territory plans with your District Manager.
- Sustain passion through the entire sales cycle, build the brand, and keep patients central.
- Partner with colleagues to share best practices and continually learn.
- Leverage oncology and disease state awareness plus industry, regulatory, and competitive changes to deliver agreed results.
What We Expect Of You (Qualifications)
- Bachelorโs degree and 3 years of sales and/or clinical experience in a healthcare/scientific field (not sales-related)
OR Associate degree and 6 years
OR High school diploma/GED and 8 years.
Preferred Qualifications
- Preferred experience in Oncology.
- 3+ years of sales and/or marketing experience in pharma/biotech/healthcare/medical devices.
- Product or hospital sales experience in oncology and/or nephrology, dermatology, rheumatology, inflammation, neurology, endocrinology, hepatology, gastroenterology, or infectious diseases.
- Local market knowledge.
- Bachelorโs degree in Life Sciences or Business Administration.
- Adaptability with planning/organizing, business/industry/technical knowledge, communicating with impact, driving for results, and cultivating relationships.
Benefits / Compensation (as stated)
- Expected annual salary range (U.S., excluding Puerto Rico): $140,465โ$190,041.
