Role Summary
Senior Oncology Specialist in the Emerald territory, covering Portland, OR, Bend, OR, and Eugene, OR. You will act as the primary customer contact, providing current clinical knowledge of Amgenโs oncology products to medical professionals and communicating their clinical and economic benefits. You will create and execute a comprehensive territory plan, manage accounts, ensure product access, and collaborate with colleagues to drive sales while focusing on delivering patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Create and execute on a comprehensive territory plan, including delivering branded sales messages, executing planned programs, scheduling and following up with medical educational programs, and achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Utilize internal and external relationships to service and manage accounts, including ensuring product access, resolving/triage reimbursement issues, and maintaining product contracts.
- Craft an effective marketing strategy to aid in driving sales.
- Analyze business effectiveness of sales activities and territory analysis, and develop territory plans with your District Manager.
- Maintain passion for our products to sustain that passion through the entire sales cycle while building our brand and keeping focus on serving patients.
- Partner with other colleagues to share best practices and continually learn to grow as a Senior Oncology Specialist.
- Leverage your passion for Oncology and disease state awareness, industry, regulatory and competitive changes to deliver results.
Qualifications
- Bachelorโs degree and 3 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare / scientific field that is not sales related
- OR Associate degree and 6 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare / scientific field that is not sales related
- OR High school diploma / GED and 8 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare / scientific field that is not sales related
