Responsibilities:
- Promote Pfizer’s oncology product portfolio to healthcare providers and specialists.
- Educate members of the healthcare community on appropriate use of Pfizer products.
- Call on accounts and organized customers to improve patients’ experience and overall quality of patient care.
- Increase Pfizer brand with high-value target customers by linking account/business insights to Pfizer products and resources.
Qualifications (Required):
- BA/BS (accredited) OR associate’s degree with 8+ years experience OR high school diploma (or equivalent) with 10+ years relevant experience.
- Travel domestically and stay overnight as necessary.
- Valid US driver’s license; DUI/DWI or impaired driving citation within past 7 years disqualifies.
- Minimum 4 years pharmaceutical sales OR 4 years oncology HCP experience with oncology thought leaders/high-influence customers (hospitals, large group practices, managed care).
- Demonstrated track record of success in pharma sales or HCP experience.
- Ability to communicate technical/scientific disease management information.
- Demonstrated business acumen.
- Proficiency using complex digital applications.
Qualifications (Preferred):
- 3–5 years oncology sales; Prostate Cancer TA experience.
- Master’s degree; advanced HCP degree.
- Experience calling on institutions, NCI centers, and Key Opinion Leaders.
Skills (Functional/Technical):
- Broad portfolio promotion; strong disease/therapeutic area/product knowledge.
- Strategic account selling and territory/account planning.
- Relationship building with institutions and KOLs; overcome access obstacles.
- Generate demand; assess needs and respond with appropriate resources.
Compensation/Benefits:
- Annual base salary: $108,600–$250,700; sales training is salary non-exempt (overtime eligible) then overtime exempt; additional sales incentive bonus.
- 401(k) with Pfizer matching + additional retirement contribution; paid vacation/holidays/personal days; paid caregiver/parental and medical leave; medical, prescription drug, dental, vision.
