Responsibilities:
- Promote Pfizer’s oncology product portfolio to healthcare providers and specialists.
- Educate healthcare community on appropriate use of Pfizer products.
- Call on accounts and organized customers to improve patient experience and overall quality of patient care.
- Increase Pfizer’s brand with high-value target customers by assessing account/business landscape and leveraging Pfizer products/resources.
Basic Qualifications:
- BA/BS from an accredited institution OR associate’s degree with 8+ years’ experience OR high school diploma (or equivalent) with 10+ years’ relevant experience.
- Domestic travel with overnight stay as needed.
- Valid US driver’s license and compliant driving record (DUI/DWI/impaired citation within past 7 years disqualifies).
- 4+ years pharmaceutical sales OR 4+ years Oncology HCP experience with key oncology thought leaders/high-influence customers.
- Track record of success in relevant experience.
- Ability to communicate technical/scientific product and disease management information.
- High business acumen.
- Proficiency with complex digital applications and adaptability to Pfizer technology model.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3–5 years oncology sales; prostate cancer therapeutic area experience.
- Master’s degree or advanced HCP degree.
- Experience calling on institutions, NCI centers, and Key Opinion Leaders.
Skills/Technical:
- Strategic territory/account planning; strong disease/therapeutic area/product knowledge.
- Generate demand; build/maintain relationships (including KOLs); overcome access barriers; work effectively in matrix environment.
