Senior Oncology Account Manager responsibilities:
- Directly promote Jazz Pharmaceuticals’ products and develop/manage business relationships with therapeutic specialists in an assigned territory.
- Implement marketing strategies/tactics to achieve short- and long-term sales goals (focus disease areas: Small Cell Lung Cancer and Gastrointestinal Cancers).
- Report to the Regional Sales Manager.
- Conduct strategic account management: analyze prescribing/purchasing decisions, understand customer business models and reimbursement/managed care landscape, identify stakeholders, and leverage omnichannel tools/resources; provide insights to cross-functional partners.
- Create and maintain customized strategic account plans with measurable objectives; collaborate with marketing, medical affairs, and market access.
- Drive selling effectiveness by promoting products to physicians/HCPs in community and academic centers; maintain a network-selling mindset; stay current on industry/competitive/clinical developments; identify and build relationships with key physicians/HCPs.
- Apply product/scientific knowledge to educate and consult with HCPs on approved indications; respond to product questions per compliance; challenge prescribers appropriately.
- Execute operationally: facilitate informational meetings, represent company at conferences/events, use CRM to manage interactions and records, ensure ethical marketing compliance, complete special projects, perform within allocated budget, comply with applicable laws/regulations.

Required qualifications/skills:
- Four-year college/university degree.
- Experience in Oncology.
- Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills (in-person and virtual).
- Ability to meet territorial travel requirements.

Preferred qualifications/skills:
- Post-graduate business school study/training.
- 5+ years in oncology market.
- Strong clinical/technical/scientific knowledge; GI/HER2/biomarker-driven therapeutics and/or Lung Cancer experience.
- Strategic thinking; strong key account management in complex academic/community accounts; business acumen, prioritization, problem solving, and sales analytics; cross-functional collaboration; proactive, results-oriented.
