Senior Oncology Account Manager responsibilities:
- Directly promote Jazz Pharmaceuticals’ adult oncology products and manage business relationships with therapeutic specialists in an assigned territory.
- Implement marketing strategies/tactics to achieve short- and long-term sales goals.
- Focus disease areas: Small Cell Lung Cancer (SCLC) and Gastrointestinal (GI) Cancers.
- Develop and manage annual territory business plans using sales analytics and understanding of prescribing/purchasing and reimbursement/managed care.
- Identify key stakeholders, provide timely account insights to cross-functional partners and the Regional Sales Manager, and continuously adjust account plans based on multi-source data and evolving market/customer needs.
- Promote products to physicians and healthcare providers in community and academic centers; maintain strong relationships with key providers and organizations.
- Educate healthcare professionals on approved indications; respond to product questions per package insert and compliance guidelines; challenge prescribers appropriately.
- Facilitate exchange of medical/product information, represent the company at conferences and meetings as needed.
- Use CRM tools to manage interactions, track sales activity, and maintain accurate territory records; work within ethical marketing policies and allocated budget.
- Complete special projects as assigned.

Required experience/qualifications:
- Four-year college/university degree.
- Experience in oncology.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; effective face-to-face and virtual presentation.
- Ability to meet territorial travel requirements.

Preferred:
- Post-graduate business school study/training; 5+ years in oncology market.
- Strong clinical/technical/scientific knowledge; strategic account/business plan skills.
- Key account management in complex academic/community settings; strong business acumen, problem solving, prioritization, and sales analytics.
- Experience with GI, HER2 landscape, biomarker-driven therapeutics and/or lung cancer.
