Responsibilities:
- Engineer, implement, and optimize global LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, SD WAN, and hybrid cloud connectivity across all locations.
- Execute network architecture standards for secure, resilient connectivity for new site deployments, lab expansions, and integrations.
- Support cloud networking to ensure reliable and optimized connectivity between on-prem and cloud environments.
- Implement and maintain firewall policies, segmentation strategies, and Zero Trust/NAC capabilities across corporate, lab, manufacturing, and regulated systems.
- Serve as the Tier 3 escalation point for complex network incidents; lead root cause analysis and improve monitoring/alerting.
- Ensure high availability and performance through proactive capacity planning and redundant design across global sites.
- Maintain accurate network documentation, runbooks, and change management standards.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of enterprise network engineering experience in global, multi-site environments.
- Strong routing, switching, SD WAN, firewalls, enterprise Wi-Fi, and core protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, VPNs, VLANs, QoS).
- Experience with regulated or manufacturing environments and managed service providers.
- Familiarity with Azure networking and hybrid cloud connectivity.
- Strong troubleshooting and disciplined documentation practices.
- CCNP (strongly preferred); CCIE (a plus).
- AWS networking certifications (preferred).
- Experience in biotech, pharma, healthcare, or similar regulated industries (preferred).
