Senior MSL I – Aesthetics Portfolio

Role: Senior Medical Science Liaison I supporting AbbVie's research and commercial objectives within a designated therapeutic area. Primary responsibilities include developing relationships with healthcare professionals, academic centers, and researchers to disseminate scientific information, support research initiatives, and serve as a scientific resource. Responsibilities also encompass creating awareness in new therapeutic areas, collaborating with cross-functional teams (including commercial), and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. The role involves providing clinical and scientific education, answering medical inquiries, supporting investigator activities, and contributing to internal training. Qualifications: Advanced degree (e.g., Pharm D, MD/DO, PhD, Nurse Practitioner), with at least 2+ years relevant experience in the healthcare/scientific field. Proficiency in standard office software and strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills are required. Must be able to travel up to 75%. High-value specifics include focus on therapeutic areas such as immunology, oncology, or neuroscience, with an emphasis on supporting medical education and research across the product lifecycle. The position involves field-based activities within the US and Puerto Rico, with compliance and credentialing requirements to access healthcare facilities.
