Senior MSL I – Aesthetics Portfolio

Role: Senior Medical Science Liaison I supporting AbbVie's therapeutic areas, primarily in immunology, oncology, and neuroscience. The role involves developing and maintaining scientific relationships with healthcare professionals, academic centers, and thought leaders to facilitate medical education and support research initiatives across the product lifecycle. Responsibilities include presenting scientific information, supporting investigator-initiated studies, identifying external collaborators, and serving as a scientific resource to internal teams and healthcare providers. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Medical Affairs, and commercial partners, to align scientific and business objectives. Core duties also encompass ensuring compliance with industry regulations, managing territory-specific activities, and providing training to internal staff. Qualifications include an advanced degree (Pharm D, MD/DO, PhD, or equivalent), at least 2+ years of relevant experience, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and proficiency with common software tools. The role demands up to 75% travel and credentialing to access healthcare facilities. Preferred candidates will have experience in clinical or scientific roles within biopharma, with a focus on immunology, oncology, or neuroscience, and familiarity with industry regulations and ethical standards. The role is field-based, supporting the company's scientific and research objectives within designated geographic regions.
