Role: Senior Medical Science Liaison (Sr MSL) specializing in Rare Epilepsies within Lundbeck's NeuroRare portfolio, providing scientific leadership and external stakeholder engagement to support pre-launch activities. Responsibilities: develop and maintain deep scientific partnerships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and research centers, generate insights on disease biology and unmet needs, support evidence strategy, facilitate investigator-initiated trials, and deliver disease education. Collaborate closely with Medical Directors, Clinical Development, and cross-functional teams to align external insights with internal strategies, support clinical development activities, and contribute to education and congress engagement. Requirements: advanced degree in health or life sciences; β₯5 years healthcare or related experience, including β₯2 years in Field Medical Affairs in pharma/biotech; experience supporting pre-launch assets and interpreting complex data; strong communication and relationship-building skills; valid driverβs license and willingness to travel up to 75%. Preferred: doctoral degrees (MD, PharmD, PhD), experience in rare diseases/epilepsy, clinical practice, research, or teaching, and established networks within the rare disease ecosystem. High-Value: focus on developmental and epileptic encephalopathies, pre-launch activities, scientific insight generation, and stakeholder engagement in a highly specialized neurotherapeutic area. Work setup: field-based position covering Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, and South Dakota with significant travel.
