Role: The Senior Medical Science Liaison (MSL), Rare Disease - PNW, acts as a scientific resource within Medical Affairs, fostering relationships with healthcare professionals, KOLs, and advocacy groups to support Acadia's rare disease portfolio. Responsibilities include engaging thought leaders, facilitating scientific exchange, supporting investigator-initiated research, developing therapeutic expertise, and collaborating cross-functionally to provide strategic insights and medical support at educational events. Qualifications: Advanced degree (MD, PharmD, PhD), minimum 5 years in pharma or biotech, with experience in rare diseases, neurology, epilepsy, or psychiatry preferred; previous MSL experience advantageous. Candidates must be able to travel up to 75% within the Pacific Northwest, including overnight stays. High-Value: Focus on underserved neurological and rare diseases, including Parkinson’s psychosis, Rett syndrome, Alzheimer’s disease psychosis, and Lewy body dementia. Emphasis on scientific exchange, research support, and cross-functional collaboration within a regulated, compliant environment. Work Setup: Field-based role covering Northern California, Oregon, and Washington, with optional residence within the territory.
