Position Summary:
- Create, develop, and sustain professional relationships with national/regional healthcare practitioners.
- Facilitate education on current and upcoming Travere therapies.
- Provide access to current medical/scientific information on Travere products and therapeutic areas to KOLs, HCPs, Managed Market/LTC stakeholders, and decision makers.

Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate deep scientific expertise about assigned molecules/products and therapeutic areas with regional thought leaders and healthcare decision makers.
- Identify and develop relationships with national/regional medical/scientific thought leaders, patient advocacy groups, and centers of excellence.
- Contribute to pre-launch/launch activities for sparsentan in FSGS and IgA Nephropathy.
- Foster KOL partnerships in medical education and clinical/scientific research; build relationships with external scientific/medical customers and organizations.
- Engage in continuous learning and participate in upskilling programs for assigned molecules, products, disease states, and business topics.
- Build working relationships across internal field partners to support an enterprise approach.
- Serve as a scientific expert at medical/scientific conferences, advisory boards, roundtables, clinical investigator meetings, and internal meetings.
- Develop and implement medical education strategies and initiatives.
- Support publication planning, medical education material development, and internal training.
- Maintain cross-functional collaboration with Clinical Operations, Clinical Development, Medical Information, Medical Communications, and Commercial/Field Sales.
- Assist with sponsored research and investigator-initiated research activities.
- Deliver medical presentations to physicians, pharmacists, and nurses; communicate complex information clearly.
- Support managed market/payer engagement by presenting formulary, pharmacoeconomic, and clinical data for sparsentan.
- Support Patient Advocacy with scientific/medical information on mechanisms of disease for IgA Nephropathy and FSGS.
- Adhere to corporate compliance in all medical/scientific activities.

Education/Experience Requirements:
- Advanced degree strongly preferred (PharmD, MD/DO, PhD, PA, or NP) in a relevant scientific discipline; equivalent education/experience may be considered.
- Minimum 5 years of biopharmaceutical industry experience as a Medical Science Liaison (or comparable research/pharmaceutical experience).
- Nephrology experience and established KOL contacts (nephrology/renal pathologists and rare disease) are a plus; other relevant disciplines may be considered.
- New product launch experience is a plus.

Additional Skills/Experience:
- Effective communicator; prepare/give presentations and answer questions on clinical research, compliance, healthcare costs, and value proposition.
- Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
- Ability to use evidence-based data to address educational and research needs.
- Build relationships and discuss complex scientific topics peer-to-peer.
- Strategic/creative thinking; project management; problem solving; deliver commitments; work with multidisciplinary teams.
- Knowledge of FDA guidelines and regulations.
- Ability to prioritize in a changing environment.
- Field-based: live in your territory or immediate adjacency.
- Travel up to 50+%; in-field 3–4 days/week; travel to regional/national/international meetings; some weekend work may be required.
- Not 100% remote; must be able to perform face-to-face/onsite work (San Diego).
