Senior Medical Science Liaison, Neuroimmunology – Pacific Northwest

Role: Senior Medical Science Liaison (MSL) in Neuroimmunology for Johnson & Johnson's Innovative Medicine division, focusing on immunological disorders within the Pacific Northwest (Seattle, Portland, San Francisco). Objectives include providing balanced scientific education to healthcare professionals and opinion leaders, supporting research initiatives, and ensuring compliant engagement within the therapeutic area. Responsibilities encompass building and managing external relationships, developing territory-specific strategic plans, maintaining deep disease state knowledge, and facilitating collaborations to positively impact patient care. The role demands strong scientific acumen, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills, with an emphasis on in-person and virtual interactions. Requirements: PharmD, PhD, MD, NP, or PA with 2+ years of relevant neurology, immunology, or neuromuscular experience; 2-4 years in an MSL or related clinical/research role; willingness to travel approximately 60%, including overnights and weekends; a valid driver’s license. Preferred qualifications include launch experience in rare diseases and extensive presentation skills. The position involves strategic territory planning, professional relationships, and supporting internal departments, with a focus on transformational immunology therapies during early to late clinical development stages. Work setup involves predominantly field-based activities across the specified geography, with significant travel.
