Role: Senior Medical Science Liaison (Sr MSL) supporting Lundbeck’s NeuroRare focus on multiple system atrophy within the neuroscience and rare disease therapeutic areas. Responsibilities include establishing and maintaining deep scientific partnerships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), generating actionable pre-launch insights, supporting evidence strategy, and delivering non-promotional disease education. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams for advisory boards, research, and clinical development activities, as well as supporting congress engagement and scientific credibility. Core duties emphasize scientific exchange, insight synthesis, investigator engagement, and compliance with regulatory standards. Requirements: advanced degree in health or life sciences; ≥5 years healthcare or related experience; ≥2 years of Field Medical Affairs in pharma/biotech; experience supporting pre-launch assets, scientific data interpretation, and relationship building; strong communication skills; valid driver’s license and willingness to travel up to 75%. Preferred qualifications include a doctoral degree, experience in neurodegenerative or rare diseases, clinical practice or academic research background, and established networks in the rare disease ecosystem. The position is field-based, covering the West territory (California, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming) with a remote work setup and significant travel. Compensation ranges from $180,000 to $220,000 plus bonus and benefits, including flexible PTO, health coverage, 401k match, and a Vehicle Fleet Stipend.
