Role: Lead Field Medical activities for Beam Therapeutics in the US, focusing on sickle cell disease (SCD) and supporting pipeline programs including Alpha‑1 antitrypsin deficiency and glycogen storage disease 1a. Responsibilities: develop and execute territory strategies, onboard treatment centers, build relationships with KOLs and HCPs, educate stakeholders on rare diseases and gene therapies, generate field insights, support pre-launch activities, and collaborate cross-functionally for launch readiness. Additional duties include supporting clinical research, representing the company at scientific meetings, ensuring compliance, and maintaining operational excellence. Requirements: advanced degree (PharmD, PhD, MD), 10+ years in Medical Affairs with significant Field Medical experience, expertise in rare diseases with hematology preference (notably SCD), prior launch experience in complex biotech or CGT environments, strong account management skills, and ability to travel ~60%. Preferred: biotech experience in resource-constrained settings, proven impact in complex ecosystems, excellent communication, and analytical skills.
