How you will contribute
- Externally-focused KOL/HCP-related activities (minimum 80% of responsibilities)
- Build and maintain professional relationships with KOLs/HCPs per territory plans aligned to medical strategy
- Analyze and interpret complex scientific information; disseminate to KOLs/HCPs in a compliant, fair-balanced, non-misleading manner
- Support Takeda-sponsored research; facilitate strategically aligned medical collaborative studies and investigator-initiated research
- Collect, interpret, and internally communicate medical insights from KOLs/HCPs to inform/refine medical strategies and/or tactics
- Identify and cultivate partnership opportunities between KOLs/HCPs and Takeda US Medical
- Participate in executing medical strategy at medical conferences and communicate insights from poster/session attendance and KOL/HCP interactions
- Respond (within timelines/quality standards) to unsolicited HCP medical information inquiries referred by Medical Information
- Complete required customer activity documentation (e.g., CRM entries, insights capture), training, expense reporting, and other administrative responsibilities (timely, accurate, compliant)
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications
- Masterโs degree in health sciences (MSN, NP, or PA) minimum; Doctoral degree preferred (PharmD, MD, PhD, or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 yearsโ experience as a field-based Medical Science Liaison (MSL) in the pharmaceutical industry
- Excellent written/verbal communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Travel requirements
- Up to 70% travel, including some overnight/weekend
- Drive and/or fly to meetings; clean and valid driverโs license
