Medical Affairs
Responsibilities:
- Externally-focused KOL/HCP activities (minimum 80% of responsibilities)
- Build and maintain professional relationships with KOLs/HCPs per territory plans aligned to medical strategy
- Analyze and interpret complex scientific information; disseminate to KOLs/HCPs in a compliant, fair-balanced, non-misleading manner
- Support Takeda-sponsored research; facilitate medically aligned collaborative studies and investigator-initiated research
- Collect, interpret, and internally communicate medical insights from KOLs/HCPs to refine medical strategies/tactics
- Identify and cultivate partnership opportunities between KOLs/HCPs and Takeda US Medical
- Participate in executing medical strategy at medical conferences; communicate insights from posters/sessions and KOL/HCP interactions
- Respond to unsolicited HCP medical information inquiries referred by Medical Information within timelines/quality standards
- Complete customer activity documentation (e.g., CRM entries, insights capture), training, expense reporting, and other administrative responsibilities accurately and compliantly

Qualifications:
- Masterโ€™s degree in health sciences (MSN, NP, or PA) minimum (doctoral degree preferred: PharmD, MD, PhD, or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 yearsโ€™ experience as a field-based Medical Science Liaison (MSL) in the pharmaceutical industry
- Excellent written/verbal communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Desired skills/experience:
- Dissemination of complex scientific data to healthcare audiences
- Relevant therapeutic area knowledge/expertise; clinical/research/teaching experience
- Ability to work in virtual and cross-functional teams
- Execute activities within legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements

Travel & requirements:
- Travel up to 70% (overnight/weekend included)
- Ability to drive and/or fly to meetings; clean and valid driverโ€™s license
- Territory: Upstate NY, CT, VT, NH, ME (must reside in territory)
