Role: Senior Medical Science Liaison (MSL) specializing in Cell Therapy and Multiple Myeloma, serving as the local medical voice for AstraZeneca in Texas. Responsibilities include developing scientific relationships with hematology/cell therapy thought leaders, providing medical support and education on CAR-T therapy, disease management, and manufacturing processes, and supporting the implementation of cell therapy infusions. The role involves scientific exchange with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals, gathering site-level insights, identifying data gaps, and collaborating with internal teams on medical strategies and research initiatives. Qualifications: Advanced degree (PharmD, MD/DO, PhD, PA, NP), 5+ years in hematology/oncology, with at least 2 years in field medical or scientific engagement, preferably in cell therapy or multiple myeloma. Experience supporting product launch and working within matrixed teams is required. Preferred: Oncology/hematology specialization, direct cell therapy expertise, knowledge of FDA and GMP regulations, and experience with headquarters alignment. The territory covers Houston, Dallas, and San Antonio, with 40-60% travel expected. The role requires strong scientific communication skills and the ability to distill complex information for diverse healthcare audiences.
