Role: Senior Medical Science Liaison (MSL) in Cell Therapy focusing on Multiple Myeloma, serving as the local medical voice to enhance patient care and support AstraZeneca's cell therapy pipeline. Responsibilities: develop relationships with hematology and cell therapy thought leaders, provide scientific support and education on CAR-T mechanisms, disease landscape, safety, and manufacturing; respond to scientific inquiries; support cell therapy infusion center implementation; gather site insights for medical strategy; identify educational and data gaps; collaborate with internal teams and represent Medical Affairs at scientific meetings. Qualifications: advanced degree (PharmD, MD/DO, PhD, PA, NP), 5+ years in hematology/oncology with at least 2 years in scientific engagement roles, experience with product launches, and ability to travel 40-60%. Preferred: oncology/hematology specialization, direct cell therapy expertise, experience with FDA/GMP regulations, and working within a matrix environment. High-Value: focus on hematology, cell therapy, multiple myeloma, CAR-T therapy, post-IND stage, and clinical/medical engagement in the US. Work setup: territory includes Buffalo and Rochester; residence within the territory required.
