Role: Senior Medical Science Liaison in Cell Therapy focusing on Multiple Myeloma, serving as the medical voice in the Mid-Atlantic territory. Responsibilities include developing scientific relationships with hematology and cell therapy thought leaders, engaging multidisciplinary healthcare providers, providing scientific support on AstraZeneca's cell therapy products, educating providers on disease, mechanism of action, and clinical management, supporting infusion center implementation, gathering insights to inform medical strategy, and collaborating across Medical Affairs, Commercial, and R&D. Requirements: Advanced degree (PharmD, MD, PhD, PA, NP), 5+ years in hematology/oncology with at least 2 years in scientific engagement, experience in product development or launch, strong communication skills, and ability to travel 40-60%. Preferred: Oncology/hematology specialization, direct expertise in cell therapy and multiple myeloma, experience in HQ implementation, and knowledge of FDA/GMP regulations. High-Value: Hematology/oncology, cell therapy, multiple myeloma, US product launch experience, and extensive field engagement. Work setup: Field-based within DC and Raleigh/Durham regions, with significant travel.
