Role: Senior Medical Science Liaison (MSL) in Cell Therapy focusing on Multiple Myeloma within the Great Lakes territory, serving as the local medical voice for AstraZeneca’s cell therapy assets. Responsibilities include building relationships with hematology and cell therapy thought leaders, providing scientific support, educating healthcare providers on CAR-T mechanisms, disease landscape, safety, and manufacturing, and supporting the implementation of cell therapy infusions. The role also involves gathering site insights, identifying data gaps, collaborating on research initiatives, and representing Medical Affairs at scientific meetings. Requirements: Advanced degree (PharmD, MD/DO, PhD, PA, NP), 5+ years in hematology/oncology with at least 2 years in scientific engagement or field-based roles, experience in cell therapy/multiple myeloma preferred, strong communication skills, and ability to travel 40-60%. Preferred qualifications include oncology/hematology specialization, direct cell therapy experience, and knowledge of regulatory requirements such as FDA and GMP. The position entails close cross-functional collaboration with Medical Affairs, R&D, and Commercial teams, with a focus on advancing pipeline and patient care in a highly specialized therapeutic area.
