Senior Medical Science Liaison – Cell Therapy (Central United States)

Role: Senior Medical Science Liaison (MSL) specializing in Cell Therapy and Multiple Myeloma, serving as the local medical voice for AstraZeneca in the Central US territory. Primary objectives include building scientific relationships, supporting education on CAR-T therapies, and advancing medical strategies to improve patient outcomes. Responsibilities encompass engaging with hematology and cell therapy thought leaders, responding to scientific inquiries, educating providers on disease and treatment specifics, supporting cell therapy infusion processes, and collaborating with internal stakeholders across Medical Affairs, Commercial, and R&D. The role involves gathering insights to inform medical strategies, identifying research opportunities, and representing Medical Affairs at scientific meetings. Qualifications: Advanced degree (PharmD, MD/DO, PhD, PA, NP), 5+ years in hematology/oncology with at least 2 years in a field medical role, and experience supporting pharmaceutical product launches. Preferred skills include oncology/hematology specialization, direct cell therapy expertise, familiarity with FDA and GMP regulations, and experience working in matrixed environments.
