Senior Medical Director (Medical Affairs)

Role: Senior Director, Global Medical Affairs at Zevra Therapeutics, focusing on rare disease assets including MIPLYFFA (NPC). Responsibilities: develop and lead global medical strategies, execute medical communication and engagement activities, support evidence generation (Phase IV studies, registries, expanded access), engage with KOLs, support payer strategies, and oversee a field-based Medical Science Liaison (MSL) team. Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and market access; provide medical review of scientific materials; ensure compliance with industry standards; and lead medical training and external engagement efforts. Requirements: advanced scientific or clinical degree (MD, PhD); minimum 8 years in Medical Affairs with at least 5 years in US-based leadership roles; expertise in rare diseases and drug development; experience with evidence generation, digital medical platforms, and stakeholder engagement.
