Role: Senior Medical Director, Hypertension, provides medical leadership and strategic direction within AZ's CVRM franchise, focusing on evidence generation, external scientific engagement, and product/disease area strategy. Responsibilities: shape disease and product strategies, build external collaborations with KOLs and partners, lead advisory boards, manage externally sponsored research, and oversee publication and evidence initiatives. Provide expertise for regulatory interactions and anticipate marketplace trends. Qualifications: MD, PhD, or PharmD; 5+ years in pharma or healthcare, with CVRM expertise; proven success in medical affairs, strategic thinking, external networking, and impactful communication.
