Role: US Senior Medical Director – Biologics, providing medical leadership for tezepelumab across severe asthma, CRSwNP, eosinophilic esophagitis, COPD, and other inflammatory diseases. Primary objectives include developing and executing US medical strategies aligned with global plans, supporting clinical development, post-approval activities, and external scientific engagement. Responsibilities encompass leading US medical initiatives, managing post-approval evidence generation, supporting lifecycle management, and acting as a scientific spokesperson. The role also involves external stakeholder engagement, including experts, societies, and advisory boards, along with ensuring compliance with US regulatory standards and contributing to US-specific scientific narratives. Collaboration spans global teams, US commercial, and payers, with a focus on real-world evidence, safety, and clinical practice improvement. Qualifications: MD, PhD, MBBS, or PharmD with 3+ years in respiratory, allergy/immunology, or gastroenterology, particularly in late-phase development or medical affairs; expertise in biologics, US regulatory environment, and US healthcare landscape preferred. Board certification in Internal Medicine or related specialties, experience with biologics and product launches, and strong cross-functional leadership desired. Work setup involves hybrid onsite (3 days/week) in Wilmington, DE, with approximately 25% US travel.
