Role: Senior Medical Communications Writer responsible for developing and editing scientific publications related to Rhythm's R&D and therapeutic areas, supporting overall publication strategy. Responsibilities include conducting literature reviews, managing freelance writers and vendors, reviewing data for accuracy, and producing peer-reviewed journal articles, abstracts, posters, and presentation materials. The role also supports internal educational content and conference reports. Requirements: BS/BA in a scientific discipline (advanced degree preferred), 6+ years of experience including at least 2 years in pharma, proven scientific writing skills, and familiarity with drug development, clinical research, and biostatistics. Preferred qualifications include experience in obesity or rare diseases. High-value specifics: focus on rare neuroendocrine diseases, familiarity with drug development stages, GxP standards, and cross-functional collaboration with medical affairs, clinical, and statistical teams. Work setup: based in Boston with hybrid work model, some travel expected.
