Role Summary
Senior Material Coordinator – Responsible for coordinating the Fulfillment and Shipping team, managing material management, shipping, packaging, fulfillment and MRP transactions, and supporting Operations. Must maintain attention to detail and follow processes accurately.
Responsibilities
- Assist the department manager to technically lead the warehouse, fulfillment, and shipping team as needed.
- Assist with writing standard operating procedures and training others on them.
- Execute all warehouse, fulfillment, and shipping tasks.
- Lead warehouse accuracy, cycle count program, Kan Ban replenishment program and all stock transfer transactions.
- Input accurate data for incoming material to the appropriate personnel, warehouse, or location.
- Ship all outgoing company freight accurately and on time.
- Participate in general production as required, including miscellaneous duties such as sequestering reagents, sales demo shipments, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness.
- Ensure quality of work and maintain employee safety.
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent; AAS or higher in a related technical field preferred.
Experience
- 3–5 years in a manufacturing warehouse related position.
Qualifications
- Highly organized with strong numerical ability.
- Ability to quickly learn and apply new skills and processes.
- Good verbal and written English communication; effective documentation of work.
- Flexibility, teamwork, and commitment to continuous improvement.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer literacy with MS Office.
Physical Demands
- Normal production environment; ability to lift and handle packages weighing 35 lbs.
