Pay Range: $24.40 - $33.55
Position Summary
Organize and stage vials/bottles for filling antibodies and protein solutions. Cap and label quickly and accurately; perform volume/purity calculations; complete computer inventory entries and supply tracking. Work in a laminar flow hood, use aseptic technique, inspect vials for defects, operate cap torqueing and labeling automation, and troubleshoot automation (desirable). Learn lyophilization process, complete paperwork accurately, and work in a fast-paced regulatory/GMP clean-room environment with proper gowning. Support new production introduction and year-end inventory counting.
Key Responsibilities
- Process bottling of antibodies and proteins (prep supplies/documents, fill, cap, label)
- Aseptic technique
- Perform various bottlings, including Special Bottling for Made To Order items
- 5-week training rotation per job assignment
- Assist with annual inventory
- Clean laboratory clean room per SOP
- Follow safety and regulatory/GMP requirements
- May work cross-functionally; perform additional duties as assigned
Education/Experience
- Bachelorโs in Science/Engineering; or
- Associateโs in Science/Engineering + 2+ years in a GMP environment; or
- High School/GED + 6+ years in a GMP environment
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Lab equipment and vial torqueing/labeling automation; appropriate calculations; safety procedures
- Product databases; Excel/computer proficiency; math; problem-solving/decision-making
- Follow written direction; independent and team work; attention to detail; professional communication
- Flexible schedule/extended hours as needed (7:00 A.M.โ3:30 P.M.)
