Role: Senior Manager leading the Workflow, Applications, and Plug-ins team within Data Science at Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine. Objectives: deliver reusable GenAI applications and scientific workflows to support R&D efforts in oncology, immunology, and other therapeutic areas. Responsibilities: oversee application delivery plans, translate user stories into technical designs, evaluate build-vs-buy options, establish coding and testing standards, coordinate data and vendor integrations, mentor technical staff, and communicate delivery tradeoffs to leadership. Qualifications: Master's in AI/ML, Computer Science, Bioinformatics, or related field; 3+ years of hands-on AI/GenAI experience; proficiency in Python, APIs, cloud deployment, language models, and workflow orchestration. Preferred: experience in life sciences R&D, traceable workflows, vendor management, AI monitoring, and fine-tuning LLMs in cloud environments (AWS/Azure). High-Value: focus on AI/GenAI development within pharmaceutical R&D, supporting drug discovery, clinical workflows, or scientific documentation with a hybrid role based in Raritan, Titusville, or Spring House, with some flexibility for remote work.
