Summary of Position:
Senior Manager, Veeva Commercial & Data (technology lead for enterprise applications and data supporting Commercial and Medical).
Responsibilities:
- Partner with Commercial/Medical Affairs, Commercial Operations, Regulatory, Legal, Compliance to translate business and compliance needs into scalable Veeva solutions.
- Lead implementations, enhancements, integrations, releases, and continuous improvement across the Commercial/Medical portfolio.
- Provide technical leadership for Veeva CRM, PromoMats, MedComms (design, configuration, integration, security, lifecycle management).
- Own day-to-day application health, performance, supportability, reliability, security, compliance, scalability, and operational quality.
- Lead release planning, impact assessments, change execution, deployment readiness, adoption support, and post-production support.
- Manage incident/problem/change/enhancement/escalation processes.
- Lead vendor and delivery management: set expectations, hold partners accountable, and ensure documentation and support transition.
- Support commercial compliance and content governance (MLR, promotional/medical review processes, audit trails, access control, content lifecycle, audits/risk assessments).
Required/Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent).
- 8+ years enterprise applications/technology delivery/application management (pharma/biotech/life sciences preferred).
- 4+ years hands-on Veeva implementation/configuration/support/delivery across Commercial/Medical/promo/content.
- Experience leading Veeva releases, integrations, and operational support in compliance-driven environments.
- Veeva certification or advanced experience; deep familiarity with Veeva ecosystem (CRM, Vault, Network).
- Strong stakeholder management and ability to resolve complex issues independently.
- Working knowledge of pharma commercial/medical/promo/privacy/compliance (MLR, audit trails, access controls, data privacy).
- ITIL/Product Management/Agile/Project Management certifications preferred.
Compensation:
$155,000 - $195,000 per year.
